You have an established, yet very old brand which has over a very long period of time, having been passed from one individual to another and in recent years been scanned and the original illustration lost… sound familiar?
Having been approached to manipulate a scanned image into a usable format, we had little alternative but to recreate the original for todays varying usage. The obvious problem with an illustrated identity for which our only reference is a low resolution small file is being able to accurately re-create it. However, we spent much time illustrating the fox and the background from reference material gleamed from similar illustrations of the period, before combining the elements with a hand crafted bespoke font.
Hopefully this reincarnation of the two brands will continue to serve their patrons for another lifetime!
